Products Description
Helio Agritech has launched a Black Yellow mulch film, an agricultural mulch film that reduces crop pests and diseases and control weed mat.
The yellow mulch film reflects yellow light, interfering with the vision of pests and attracting them to land on the film, reducing contact with crops, thus reducing the spread and reproduction of pests and diseases, reducing labor and pesticide inputs, and lowering costs.
This mulch film is made from 100% new PE and high-quality yellow masterbatch, protecting crop growth and increasing yield.
It features UV protection, is durable, and lasts throughout the crop's life cycle.
We recommend this agricultural plastic mulch film for reducing the impact of pests such as aphids, whiteflies, and thrips on crops.

FAQ
Why is the yellow-black combination more effective than standard clear or black mulch?
+
-
This is a dual-action biological and physical solution. The yellow top layer specifically targets the phototaxis of pests like aphids and whiteflies, disrupting their visual navigation and repelling them from your crops. Meanwhile, the opaque black bottom layer provides 100% light blockage to stop weed growth and regulate soil moisture. It's a comprehensive system designed to reduce chemical dependency and labor costs.
How long will the film last under intense UV exposure?
+
-
Our mulch films are manufactured with high-quality UV stabilizers. Depending on your specific regional sunlight intensity and your choice of thickness, we offer different grades that provide a service life ranging from 6 to 24 months. We can customize the UV resistance level to match your specific growing cycle (e.g., strawberry seasons or multi-year orchard use).
Does the yellow color actually attract more pests to my field?
+
-
It's a common question! While yellow attracts certain pests, the film acts as a "Decoy & Deterrent". Pests are lured toward the hot, dry surface of the film rather than the succulent leaves of your plants. Furthermore, the strong upward reflection of yellow light interferes with their ability to land on the underside of leaves, effectively breaking the pest reproduction and virus transmission cycle.
Can I order custom widths, thicknesses, and pre-perforated (punched) holes?
-
Absolutely. As a professional B2B supplier, we specialize in customization. We can produce widths from 0.5m to 3.0m and thicknesses from 15 to 50 microns. We also offer precision pre-perforation with customizable hole spacing and patterns to fit your specific crop spacing and mechanical laying equipment, saving you significant time during installation.
Do you provide samples for quality testing before a bulk container order?
+
-
Yes, we understand that quality and tensile strength are critical for large-scale operations. We offer free samples (standard sizes) for your evaluation. For custom specifications, we can provide a trial roll for a nominal fee. We ship globally via reliable carriers to ensure you can test the film's performance in your local soil and climate conditions before committing to a full wholesale order.
